The platform has become a trusted space where no topic is off-limits, fostering open discussions on everything from love and relationships to mental health, identity, and self-empowerment.
Under the visionary leadership of host and founder Jai The Gentleman, the podcast has gained a loyal and growing audience across the nation, with each episode offering a candid, humorous, and always insightful look at life through the lens of Black queer identity.
DBGM curates unique opportunities for Black gay men to share authentically, express boldly and understand each other deeply. How We Started
I got stood up for a date that I really wanted with a guy that I really liked. Dear Black Gay Men emerged as my heartfelt response to that experience—a love letter to every hopeful single who yearns for genuine connection and understanding.
It’s a space where we celebrate the shared experiences of navigating relationships and seeking meaningful bonds, turning personal setbacks into a collective story of connection and community.
