ATLANTA, GA – Dear Black Gay Men, one of the nation’s leading podcasts dedicated to authentic conversations by, for, and about Black gay men, is set to launch its newest season on September 19, 2024, at 8 p.m. Eastern. The show continues to break barriers, not just with its influential discussions, but by making history as the only Black queer-led YouTube channel with its own full production studio in Atlanta.
In a conscious effort to support and uplift the Black queer community, the Dear Black Gay Men team was intentional in employing Black queer creatives to bring their studio to life. From the interior designer to the art on the walls, the beverages in the fridge, and the crew working behind the scenes, every aspect of the space was curated with Black queer culture at the forefront. The commitment to keeping Black dollars within Black culture is a driving force behind the launch of the studio and furthers Dear Black Gay Men‘s goal of empowering Black queer creatives and creating a sustainable ecosystem for Black businesses in Atlanta and beyond.
“Our mission is to create a space where Black gay men can see themselves authentically represented, where their stories and experiences matter,” said Jai the Gentleman, the host and founder. “With the launch of our new studio, we’re not just telling stories—we’re building a home for Black queer creativity. This season, we’re excited to dive even deeper and continue building a platform that uplifts, empowers, and invests in our community.”
The newest season will focus on the first 90 days of dating, providing listeners with practical advice on self-improvement, finding the right partner, and navigating relationships beyond the honeymoon phase. This season’s theme will explore the steps to becoming your best self, meeting the right person, and building lasting connections.
With a growing audience spanning Atlanta, the South, and across the nation, Dear Black Gay Men is a leading, authentic voice in Black queer life. While the podcast primarily serves Black gay men, its reach extends to anyone interested in dating and relationships, and dives into an array of topics such as sexual health and empowerment, mental health and fostering queer communities, relationships and identities.
